Candied Apple Pie (Vegan)

We start with Grandma Peterson's recipe and a family favorite - then we add in cinnamon candies.  Now the pie has extra cinnamon flavor and a beautiful, festive red color.  We won a second place ribbon at the Dodge County fair and only make this pie in the winter months as a nod to the red hot apples Grandma Betty made for Christmas breakfast - so yummmy! In our classic flaky vegan pastry crust.
